How gay is your candidate? George Bush’s former campaign manager, Ken Mehlman, is out of the closet gay. Mehlman says Bush knew and supported his choice. Dick Cheney’s daughter received his unequivocal support, and ultimately his support for her to marry. Meanwhile, gay marriage was defeated in California, according to the DNC by black voters in Los Angeles, who have strong religious and cultural objections. So what gives? Where do gay people go for political support? And why the F do you care so much about them marrying? Perhaps our assumptions about the left and right are right and wrong.

I’M Sorry….I accidentally stepped on a woman’s toe. She said, “I’m sorry.” “Huh? You’re sorry?” We apologize way too much. And for the wrong reasons. How about an apology from the networks for pandering to our base fears? Or our elected officials for poisoning the dreams of Madison, Jefferson, and Washington. And the corporate shills who distort the truth for a buck, or the ironic Hollywood elite crying for social change as they employ Mexicans to wipe their baby’s asses?
